Amanda Bender is currently living in New York working as a publicity assistant by day and writing weird fiction—often involving alpacas, thieves, and/or cannibal pirates—by night. When she is not working or writing or reading, she can be found down at the local CrossFit box practicing snatches and clean and jerks—or just hanging out with her favorite parakeet, Nelson.
